MARTIN NIEVERA’S BIG MOUTH BIG BAND ALBUM REVIEW

IMG_0236 Martin Nievera’s recent album entitled Big Mouth Big Band, are collection of his versions of some loved 80’s and 90’s songs recorded with a live band while he is singing. As he said in an interview, tracks are “Martinized”. Its a different type of recording for a new LP and it really sounded raw. Songs are right for his voice and not so much belting. Easy and cool. Because of the rawness of the band while he sing, it really sounded like a great jazz album. I love his take for the songs Dust In The Wind and Sing A Song, promise, napakanta ako. Hahaha! Another great track is his Simply Red hit song Stars deserves the repeat button on my phone. With a great band and his great (and big mouth) voice, this album is really a must have.
