After a long absence from the music scene, Blur is back with their latest offering entitled The Magic Whip. It’s an 11 track of mixed of slow rock, alternative rock and indie sound with Cosmic sounds. Lonesome Street gives a band sounding track and coming from a log break, it doesn’t come too strong for listeners. With a classic band sound for the single Go Out, which is not really my typical sound. Like a children song for the Ice Cream Man, and with that cosmic sound in the back ground is nice additional to the track. Thought I Was A Spaceman gives an echoing style of singing and also just beat and not that strong instrumental sounds. The only track that I think is the sound of Blur is My Terracotta Heart cause its closes to the band instruments and vocal. With the marching vibe, Pyongyang gives the echo vocal sound. Raw sounding song for Ong Ong and this is perfect as a next single. The album sound is not my thing and there are songs that I don’t like.
